INLEA is recruiting a Marketing Manager to work in Corporate Affairs for Cisoc. The Marketing Manager must have a clear understanding of marketing and the tactics used within a marketing strategy. They must be able to relate our marketing efforts to our business goals, keeping an eye on the ‘big picture’. They need to understand how and when to do research to strengthen our message, identity market trends and opportunities. They must be able to work collaboratively and effectively with their immediate team, field and corporate teams.
Core Responsibilities
• Co-lead and manage our yearly instructor development conference (similar to a customer loyalty event) which is a combination of physical and virtual events. Analyzing data and performing required research to make the event successful and accessible. Constructing an excellent attendee experience from beginning to end with communications, social media, registration, sessions, etc. Defining, gathering and reporting metrics.
• Lead partnerships and marketing engagements with our U.S. and Canada national education organizations (AACC, ACTE, ICTC) including defining the engagements, managing events, pitching content and ideas to position Cisco Networking Academy, tracking metrics.
• Write and develop communications, collateral, presentations in support of team efforts.
• Collaborate with and influence cross functional teams on projects, sales enablement and business relevance to Cisco.
• Contribute to and collaborate with GEO marketing teams on a variety of efforts including web, reach, reporting, social media, etc.
• Report and gather metrics on all activities demonstrating how it impacted our business goals.
Qualifications
• 5+ years related experience
• Broad marketing and communications knowledge required
• Proven ability to develop strategic plans AND execute against them
• Strong event management skills with physical, virtual and hybrid events
• Experience partnering with education institutions and related NGOs preferred
• Effective while being flexible and collaborative in a cross-functional and multi-tasked environment
• Excellent writing, organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence tactfully at all levels within the organization
• Experience with social media, SEO, etc. and how to leverage these tactics to extend marketing impact
• Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Word, MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint
• ‘Can do’ attitude that’s goal and metric oriented

Reporting to the President of INLEA and supervised by the Cisco Academy Marketing of U.S.A. and Canada, the position will be responsible for:
• Leading all web execution for the US, Canada & LATAM.
• Working with the marketing team to contribute to the overall web strategy, reporting and metrics.
• Assisting in identifying ways to improve the web experience and capture metrics.
• Using expertise to provide better use of Search Engine Optimization.
• Ensure copy and design is proofed and user-ready when implanted.
Suitable candidates will possess the following professional and personal background:
• Website implementation, coding and design such as: CSS (including understanding includes), HTML, Flash (minimum). PHP (minimum), XML (minimum), Photoshop (proficient). Illustrator (basic)
• Understanding of CMS systems and their structures and staging capabilities
• Print design (layout of website pages before coding)
• Web Metrics (Clickstream, Google Analytics or NetInsight)
• Cisco specific: Cisco design guidelines, templates, standards, etc
Required Skills
• Detail oriented
• Self starter who proactively works to improve websites and metrics
• Strong analytical and communication skills, and can work collaboratively with a team and benefit from constructive input
• Ideally: this person already has experience working with Cisco websites and supporting tools
